This area was once an airfield which is why there are references to aeroplanes. Developed over the last twenty five years, Clifton Moor has grown into a huge out of town shopping park. Superstores such as Tesco extra, PC World and B&Q can be found here along with a wide range of discount chains and Home ware stores.

For entertainment you can visit the Vue Cinema or the Ten pin Bowling Alley.

Several restaurants and family pubs provide refreshments and relaxation. Frankie and Benny's American style Diner, Chiquita and The Flying Legend are located next to the cinema complex.
