The Farmer's Cart is much more than just a farm shop, it is the vibrant outcome of a team of dedicated staff who work together to create a wonderful locally produced shopping experience.
The 152 acre farm produces 50 different soft fruit and vegetable crops which are handpicked and sold in the shop alongside a delicious range of fresh bread, quiches, pies, cakes, scones and biscuits which are baked on the premises and sold in the shop and served in the café.
The butchers section is packed with delicious looking home reared meat which is displayed in such a way as to give inspiration for meal times. The butcher can trace the provenance of every cut of meat on the counter and advise on how best to cook it.
The award winning delicatessen counter is full of cheeses, pâtés, freshly baked pies and quiches, an array of olives, stuffed peppers and mushrooms, fish cakes, homemade salads, soups, desserts and patisseries... all of which can be sampled in the adjoining café.
The café is very popular with the locals and has a regular clientele who visit for breakfast and lunch. The menu changes with the seasons to make the most of the fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the farm. Click here to see the wonderful cafe menu.
