During term time Murton Park is used as an educational activities centre by many local schools but at the weekends and during the school holidays there is lots to see and do at Murton Park.
As well as Agricultural artefacts and Photographs telling the history of farming in Yorkshire there are also Live animals to meet and feed.
Another area of Murton Park is dedicated to educating children about the lives of our ancestors. Explore the Viking Village, the Roman Fort and the Tudor Croft to see why the school visits to Murton Park are always popular with children.
There is also a cafe where you can relax with a hot drink and a homemade cake while the kids let off steam in the adventure Playground.
