York St Mary's arts venue is located in a beautiful Medieval church which was de consecrated in 1958.
At 47 metres high York St Mary's has the tallest steeple in York.
This years exhibit is called 'Thirty Pieces of Silver' by artist Cornelia Parker. Silver objects such as teapots, trombones and candlesticks were collected by the artist and then crushed by a steam roller. Suspended from the ceiling by fine wires they create a thought provoking exhibition not to be missed.
