Stillington Sports & Social Club

Stillington Sports & Social Club is a bar-led community venue serving Stillington and the surrounding villages north of York. It combines sports facilities, televised matches and a comfortable social area, creating a setting for club members, visiting teams, spectators and local groups.

The venue shows sport through Sky and TNT Sports, making the bar a place for meeting friends, following a match or enjoying a drink after sporting activities. The social area includes two pool tables, while the wider club supports bowls, cricket, football, pool, snooker, darts, squash, racketball and tennis. The range of facilities gives the club a practical role in local sport as well as a relaxed setting away from the playing area.

Stillington Sports & Social Club is open to the public and presents an inclusive, friendly atmosphere. Its character is informal and community-focused rather than restaurant-led, with the bar and social space at the centre of the experience. The club also welcomes visiting teams and their spectators, so it can suit match-day gatherings as well as quieter social visits.

A function room is available for hire, with kitchen and bar facilities for special occasions and other organised events. This makes the venue suitable for parties, group meetings and post-match gatherings where a dedicated space is useful. Event arrangements can be discussed directly with the club, including the facilities required for a particular occasion.

Sports clubs, local residents, visiting teams and groups looking for a straightforward social venue will find a broad mix of activities under one roof. The combination of racket and field sports, cue sports, televised sport, a bar and event space gives Stillington Sports & Social Club a clear local role. The address is Stillington Road, Stillington, York YO61 1LJ.
