Join your guide at York Art Gallery for a photowalk that blends sightseeing with expert photography tuition. Start with a 360° view at York Minster, then proceed to the Bootham bar walls and city walls for panoramic shots.
Walk down to Monk Bar and continue along The Shambles, capturing local history and street scenes. Move on to Fossgate, The Merchant Adventurers Hall, and its gardens before heading back to Parliament Street. Stroll through The Shambles Market, then to Swinegate and Stonegate.
Visit The Museum Gardens to photograph St Mary’s Abbey, Roman wall remains, and The Hospitium, finishing with a walk back across Lendal Bridge. Throughout, learn how to enhance creativity, master composition, optimise lighting conditions, find the best viewpoints, and adjust camera settings appropriately.
The tour includes a refreshment break with time to review your photos and discuss practical applications of photographic theory.
