Lady Anne Middleton's Hotel York
York
This is a unique hotel with a lot of History attached to it. Lady Anne Middleton's is a collection of 6 listed buildings, one of which dates back to 1659. There is a lot to learn about the various prior uses of the buildings which have been transformed into the present day hotel by the owners who rescued the nearly derelict buildings in 1973. It is located within walking distance of all of York's tourist attractions and yet has a peaceful and tranquil garden to enjoy. There is also free of charge access to the Health club which is situated within the grounds.
Jazz evenings and other musical events take place in the hotel's guest lounge and are open to non residents. click here for more details
