Description
Day 1: London
See London landmarks from the outside, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the River Thames, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London area. Visit the British Museum, subject to opening hours and entry arrangements. Overnight in London or nearby.
Day 2: Cambridge and York
Travel to Cambridge to see the historic university area, famous colleges, the River Cam, and the Bridge of Sighs. Continue to York and explore the medieval city centre, including the Shambles. Overnight in York or nearby.
Day 3: Edinburgh and Glasgow
Travel to Edinburgh and explore the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle area, City Chambers, Holyrood Palace area, Holyrood Park, and Calton Hill. Edinburgh Castle entry is optional and requires separate tickets. Continue to Glasgow and overnight in Glasgow or nearby.
Day 4: Gretna Green, Lake Windermere, and Manchester
Stop at Gretna Green, a village known for its wedding traditions. Continue through the Lake District and enjoy the scenery around Lake Windermere. Travel to Manchester and see the exterior of Old Trafford Stadium. Overnight in Manchester or nearby.
Day 5: Stratford-upon-Avon and Bicester Village
Visit Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s hometown, with free time to explore the town centre. Paid Shakespeare-related attractions are optional and require separate tickets. Continue to Bicester Village for shopping before travelling to Swindon. Overnight in Swindon or nearby.
Day 6: Bibury and Bath
Explore Bibury, then continue to Bath. Enjoy free time and exterior views of landmarks such as the Roman Baths area and the Royal Crescent. Roman Baths entry is optional and requires separate tickets. Overnight in Swindon or nearby.
Important note: If Bath-related attractions are closed, restricted, or affected by local conditions, the itinerary order may be adjusted with nearby itinerary days according to the guide’s arrangement. The regular Thursday route is Swindon → Bibury → Bath → Swindon. If required, the group may visit other scheduled stops such as Stonehenge or Windsor Castle depending on the actual operating situation. Admission tickets are not included.
Day 7: Stonehenge and Windsor
Travel to the Stonehenge area and enjoy free time around the visitor area. Stonehenge entry is optional and requires separate tickets. Continue to Windsor for exterior views of Windsor Castle and free time in town. Castle entry is optional. Return to London, where the journey ends.
