Housing over 32 million specimens, New York City's American Museum of Natural History provides visitors with a whole day's worth of engaging activities. Included in a General Admission ticket is admission to all 45 Museum Halls of the permanent collection and as well as the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Upgrade to the Super Saver Ticket to include all the special exhibits (by timed entry), the Hayden Planetarium Space Show, and an IMAX Theater Film – all at one low price. Important Information

  • Please note that on Monday 29 April the American Museum of Natural History will close to the public at 2:30 PM for a private event
  • It is recommended that you arrive at the museum before noon on weekends in order to avoid the crowds
  • To save time, avoid the long General Ticket Line at the front entrance and instead enter through the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Once inside the doors, go down the staircase to the left, then turn left at the bottom of the stairs and redeem your voucher at the 'Will Call Desk' - where there may also sometimes be a small line. (But nothing compared to the Ticket Purchase Line)
  • There are no lockers available at the museum. Please leave large, bulky items at your hotel. Coat check is available for USD 2 per person, space permitting
